Testimonials

OUR CROWING ACHEIVEMENTS
100+ reviews
"Coming from a small town, it's nice to have a dentist in the city that remembers you and always makes you feel comfortable. All of the staff is friendly and professional. I always feel at ease and in good hands here. They're great at what they do and I always leave feeling better than I did coming in, which is rare for a dentist to achieve."
"Best dentist office I've visited. Very caring and attentive. They eased my stress before procedures and kept the vibe easy going. Definitely suggest going here...especially if you have irrational anxiety about going to the dentist."
"I felt welcomed and at ease. It was the best dental experience I’ve had in years! The worst pain usually comes from the numb shot—I didn’t feel a thing! There was detailed conversation and understanding with every procedure. If you’re looking for a new dentist come here. You’ll wish you found Ridge Park Dental sooner!"
"I have severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I came to Ridge Park for an emergency toothache. Dr. Pugmire was seriously THE BEST. I am actually seriously considering switching my regular dentist to him. He let me know that, while fixing my teeth is important, making me feel comfortable while doing so is of utmost important. He was extremely easy to talk to, gave me all of my options and discussed them and answered any questions I had. I was very grateful for him and I’m so glad I went to them for my emergency."
"I love coming into the office to get my teeth cleaned.    Natalie at the front desk is so nice and very knowledgeable about my insurance. I got to meet Dr. Pugmire today and he was awesome!  Thanks for the great treatment every time I come in!!"
"Dr. Pugmire is an amazing Dentist. He takes the time to really hear your concerns and then does everything he can to try and solve the issue or make it better. He makes you feel comfortable and able to speak your mind and he is great at what he does. You know he really cares about his patients when they are in his office or even out of the office. If something happens to your teeth when you’re not in his office he tells you to let me know and he will help anyway he can. It’s a great feeling to like going to the dentist knowing you’re in good hands!"

FAQ

Questions
How often should I visit the dentist?

It is recommended to visit the dentist for a regular check-up and cleaning every six months. However, your dentist may suggest more frequent visits based on your individual oral health needs.

What should I do if I have a toothache?

If you experience a toothache, rinse your mouth with warm water and use dental floss to remove any food particles stuck between your teeth. If the pain persists, contact your dentist for an appointment as soon as possible. You can also take over-the-counter pain medication to help alleviate discomfort until you can see your dentist.

How can I prevent cavities?

To prevent cavities, brush your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, floss daily, and limit sugary and acidic foods and beverages. Regular dental check-ups and cleanings are also essential for maintaining good oral health.

What are the signs of gum disease?

Signs of gum disease include red, swollen, or tender gums, bleeding while brushing or flossing, persistent bad breath, receding gums, and loose or shifting teeth. If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule an appointment with your dentist.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept most major dental insurance plans, as well as cash, credit cards, and financing options through third-party providers. Please contact our office for more information on specific payment options and to verify your insurance coverage.

What should I do in a dental emergency?

In case of a dental emergency, such as a knocked-out tooth, severe toothache, or broken dental appliance, contact our office immediately. We reserve time in our daily schedule for emergency appointments and will provide you with instructions on how to handle your situation until you can see the dentist.

Are dental X-rays safe?

Yes, modern dental X-rays are safe. The amount of radiation exposure from a dental X-ray is minimal, and dentists take precautions to minimize exposure by using lead aprons and collars. X-rays are an essential diagnostic tool for detecting dental issues that may not be visible during a regular exam.
